Free Webinar – Civil Unrest: Post Election Scenarios & Preparation

Free Webinar – Civil Unrest: Post Election Scenarios & Preparation

Are You Ready?

Please join us on Thursday, November 3rd, 2016 at 8:00 PM Central Time for this free webinar hosted by Oath Keepers. We will be discussing post election civil unrest & terrorism scenarios and how to prepare for it. This is a non-partisan presentation, unrelated to the candidates themselves. This will be an in-depth presentation on how to prepare for possible unrest or terrorism in urban and suburban areas and how to make an emergency plan for your family. We’ll discuss how to prepare to shelter in place and minimize the danger of arson and home invasion, including neighborhood security and defense, contingency plans (Plan B, C, D) as well as what you need to do to safely get out of town if need be. Be ready before anything happens.

Karriman - Ferguson

Oath Keepers Board of Directors member John Karriman standing on a rooftop in Ferguson, MO during the civil unrest there.

The discussion will be led by Stewart Rhodes, President and Founder of Oath Keepers.  Presenters will include:

  1.  Threat briefing:  Threat group analyst “Navy Jack;” current police academy defensive tactics instructor John Karriman (team leader in our Ferguson Ops who understands what it’s like to go up against arsonists and looters);  SWAT veteran and current serving peace officer, Greg McWhirter (who worked riot control on major civil disturbances as a big city cop); and EOD expert SGM Joseph Santoro (Ret), who will speak on the threat of IEDs  (what we have seen overseas is coming here).
  2. Recommended plans, countermeasures, and preps: Above panelists will be joined by personal security specialist Bill Witten; U.S. Army Ranger veteran Ivan Chiplinsky (lessons learned from multiple Florida Hurricanes on sheltering in place that apply in man-made storms too); U.S. Army Ranger veteran Jim Arroyo (Arizona Oath Keepers CPT Director who successfully partners with local police  for community security); LDS food storage and preparedness expert Ron Norton, and emergency medical and communications expert Nick Meacher (yet to be confirmed). We may add one or two more if needed, to cover all critical subjects.

Together, they bring with them many years of experience dealing with personal security, law enforcement, civil unrest, terrorist threats, and the policies and procedures that both help and hinder the average citizen when things get ugly. This will be a fast-paced but well organized webinar to give you what you really need to know and do, to be ready in case of “SHTF” post election.

We will take audience questions after each major topic. In addition, we will post written supplementary materials on each topic.

After the webinar, all participants will receive a coupon for 10% off* merchandise and memberships in our store.

Register now and be sure to join us on time. We’re limited to the first 2000 people to sign on.

As patriots, we need to be prepared so we can fulfill our duty to our family, our community, and our country. Now is a good time to check your plan (or form one!), check, organize, and shore up your equipment/supplies/preps, and get your you-know-what wired tight, just in case.  – Oath Keepers

What are the chances of getting this recorded for wider distribution?

Seconded, my kid has a cub scout thing, so even if there was a snow balls chance you don’t get 2000 people before i can log in, I’d be late. Would love to watch it later.

Murphy, this is open to the public. You don’t have to be an Oath Keepers member to watch this one. We will have future webinars that will be members-only, but this one is wide open. Please pass it around to family and friends. We will also post up a copy afterwards, for those who miss it.

We are doing a series of public webinars on critical issues as part of our CPT program. This is one of them. Future ones will go into active shooter response, how to set up neighborhood watches, church security teams, long term food storage, and then more detail on the other topics in our CPT program (emergency medical, engineering (clean water, fuel, power, shelter), communications, intelligence, security, and long-term preparedness and independence). They will run the gamut.

We will also have one focused on truckers, who are critical eyes and ears on the road.

Then we will have members only webinars that go into more sensitive issues and info that are meant for our own org members to use in our work. Those will be more internal.

The CPT program is focused on training all of our communities, and all Americans, whether they are Oath Keepers members or not.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

      Stewart

You should have received an email when you registered with instructions to log on. You will receive another email 6 hours then one hour before it begins and those emails will also have links.

Mr Rhodes, will a transcript of the webinar be available? Alternatively, will the automatic subtitles be available on the YouTube upload. I am just shy of profoundly hearing impaired and can only follow the dialog in a video or TV program by virtue of closed captioning. I would LOVE to be able to sit at the feet of guys like John Karriman, Greg McWhirter, SGM Santoro and the others if I could hear or read what they said.

Any chance an old deaf former USAF SSGT can get a chance to learn from the best?

I’m not sure you understood my question. I asked if a TRANSCRIPT of the webinar would be available or posssiably automatic closed captioning on the video. I really am almost deaf and absent either captioning or a transcript the webinar might as well be a silent movie for me.

I apologize for the misunderstanding. GoToWebinar which is the service we use is not set up for automatic closed captioning. I will look in to a transcription service. My understanding is that automated transcription is very inaccurate.

This makes us feel that we are not alone in facing unknown future events which is very comforting. We want to sign up but will need to leave at 9:30 Central Time. In any case, please do send out the Youtube URL so we can review it. We support your work, what would we do without your planning, vision and efforts??!!

The webinar is not until 8:00PM Central time on tonight, Nov. 3rd. Unless you’re in a sequestered jury, you should be home in plenty of time. You can join us from any average internet connection.

First off, I am not a member of OathKeepers as of yet. Working on this task along with the task of getting/being prepared for what may be coming OUR way. Secondly, I commend each and every one of you that have served this once great nation in the capacity you chose. I salute all of you!!
I am looking forward to this webinar this evening, mostly because I reside in kommiefornia.
When I do ask to join to this Patriot outfit it will be as a private citizen. I am/was unable to serve my country in either chosen capacity, but does not mean that I don’t have vested interest in the protection of my constitutional republic. Always have, always will.

Mike, we welcome men like you with open arms, as a brother patriot. We have “associate” membership for just that purpose, because we truly are all in this together. And once a member, we treat everyone the same, and put them to work. Many hands make light work. And we will plug you into a CPT in your area, or help you start one. And anyone can serve on a Community Preparedness Team (CPT) even if not prior service, because you will have some skill set to contribute. For example, one of our site editors, Shorty, serves on my local CPT even though he is not prior service. He was a carpenter his whole life, and worked construction, so he is on the Engineer team. Ditto for our local and state communications expert, Paul. He is not prior military, but he is a very knowledgeable General Class Ham operator. Everyone has something to offer, and we will also train them up on any of the CPT skillsets that they want to pursue as a training track (emergency medical, comms, intelligence, security, engineering (clean water, power, shelter, etc), food storage and preparedness, etc).

And, more importantly, our goal is a trained, organized, and equipped community, and that is entirely separate from whether someone joins this org. That is why we are doing these open to the public webinars. What matters is whether you have a neighborhood watch (with teeth), a church security team and church preparedness program, and then a prepared town, county, and state, with the ultimate goal being a true revitalization and restoration of the state militia (which would be well organized, well trained, well equipped, and well disciplined, with town and county units under the ultimate command of the state governor). And a true militia includes all able bodied citizens in a community, not just a handful (just one reason we don’t consider our CPTs to be a militia, and why we don’t call them that).

Our CPTs are training cadre, and their primary mission is to go out and train the community. Certainly, they can, and do, assist the community directly (many have helped during floods, forest fires, civil unrest, to back up local police when needed, to provide security during public events, etc). So, it is our duty to train you whether you become a member or not, and we will. But you are certainly welcome to join to help us.

God bless you, and God bless America.

      Stewart

    Mr. Rhodes,

I am an associate member or your organization and did join the webinar last night. I have been preparing for 4+ years now and just wanted to say thank you for what you are doing and for bringing together the knowledge, experience and wisdom of ALL the presenters last night. It was tremendously educational to me and inspires me to engage deeper with the organization to learn more about engaging my neighbors, neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods in what can only be thought of as common sense planning and organizing.

However, there were a few PDFs mentioned which appear to be missing. Any chance we can get those? Thanks again for everything.
