Remember the Professor Who Said Republicans Should be Executed?

Remember the Professor Who Said Republicans Should be Executed?

By Todd Starnes – June 14, 2017

It was a bad day for America. It was an ugly day.

A former Bernie Sanders campaign volunteer who hated President Trump opened fire on Republicans during baseball practice Wednesday. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise is in critical condition. Two incredibly brave Capitol Police officers were also injured along with a House aide.

Rep. Mark Walker told NBC News it appeared the “gunman was there to kill as many Republican members as possible.”

Rep. Rodney Davis blamed what he called “political rhetorical terrorism.

“This political discourse has led to gunfire,” the Illinois Republican, said.

What I’m about to say is politically incorrect, but it needs to be said.

Our great nation is teetering on the brink of political anarchy. And the blame lies with Hollywood and public universities and left-wing activists.

Their hateful rhetoric over the past year — their quest to remove President Trump from office – has now given birth to bloodshed.

This time at the hands of a man who hated President Trump – a man who wanted to kill as many Republicans as he could.

Good people gunned down because of their political affilaition.

Make no mistake – the man who pulled the trigger bears the responsibility for the bloodshed.

But we would be foolish if we did not address the festering anti-Trump cancer that has infected the left.

What about the D-list comedian who beheaded the president or the taxpayer-funded production called, “Killing Republicans” or the Shakespearean drama where Caesar was depicted as President Trump?

What about the high school teacher who made a bet on whether the president would be assassinated or the one who pretended to execute the president inside her classroom?

Or  how about the professor who said Republicans must be executed and the president must hang? Or the other professor who said House Republicans should be lined up and shot?

On Wednesday – those professors nearly got their wish – when a baseball field came perilously close to becoming a killing field.

We can be better than that, America. We must be better than that.

I am no Constitutional scholar by any stretch of the imagination. that is why what I am going to rant out, there needs to be answered by someone like Cal, or anyone else for that matter that thinks that they have a clear grip on the Constitution.
This has really gone on long enough for me, and if a clear line is not drawn in the sand,(notice I said clear line) than the document that is supposed to hold our Republic together is finished.
O.K. here goes. The President of the USA took an oath to protect this republic against enemies, foreign and domestic, as well as any one else from dog catcher up to vice-president. If the person that takes that oath, does not follow through with this oath, that person is a traitor or at a minimum unfit for the job. Am I on so far? If I am not please explain, if I am, then President trump needs to call up the militia (US) and we need to take all traitors to,where ever (N.Korea,)? Also if this is the case, I don’t know what the percentage is, but I would on the conservative side say that every one on the democrat/liberal side is a traitor to the Constitution.and probably 90% of the republicans. It was because of this that I dropped out of the GOP and I can not say I am a conservative, but there is no way I am a Liberal.I sure hope that there is someone out there that can give it to me straight and truthfully. For the Lord Jesus who gave us the Republic. CB

I’m not a Democrat or a Republican either. I’m an American.

I’m a registered Republican for the purpose of voting, locally and nationally ONLY. It does not define me. My Conservatism is a better gauge of who I am. I don’t think we need to overthink this. “Liberalism”, as Dr. Savage famously pointed out, “is a mental disorder.” But he doesn’t point out, that it is a self-imposed mental disorder. And he doesn’t tell us why. Liberals are Liberals because from the time of the Crucifixion certainly, they cannot and will not accept Truth or accountability. This forces them to cling to the Lie (Globalism). By the Grace of God, Trump doesn’t dance…or at least he seems (for the time being) to be dancing to our beat rather than theirs. He now needs to take the gloves off and go after these clowns. We need to see some high-level arrests. The violence on demand will stop in a hurry when the heads of the inciters start rolling.

When you fail to teach critical thinking skills in our schools, you end up with a lot of people who can’t (wait for it) THINK CRITICALLY. The first time I heard the term, “Liberalism is a mental disorder,” I thought it was just a humorous, catchy phrase that had small element of truth to it. The actions and rhetoric of the Left over the last decade or so have proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the phrase is an accurate description of Liberalism.

Has anyone else noticed that almost no one in the media is focusing on what kind of weapon this guy used, simply referring to it as a “rifle” or a “high-powered rifle?” I’ve seen one reference to the fact that it was similar to an M-4 (not M-4 assault rifle, just an M-4). Several news outlets HAVE stressed that it was a rifle he owned legally, which I find rather curious. If he had been a Conservative Republican you can bet every other sentence would refer to an evil, black AR-15 assault rifle with high-capacity magazine capable of “spraying hundreds of rounds a minute,” a weapon that had been previously banned. Just sayin’

I recently noticed, while sitting in my chiropractor’s waiting room, the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine in the rack. One of the headline articles posted on the front page was titled “AR-15 – All American Killing Machine.” The leftist MSM will never stop trying to disarm Americans – yet, given the recent act of war against the GOP by a devout leftist – the irony is deafening.

In discussing the nature of Congressman Scalise’s wound, someone said on Fox News last night that it was a 7.62 round, so it could be an AK or an AR-10, depending on whether it’s 7.62×39 or 7.62×51. Given the number of rounds he fired, it almost certainly has to be a semi-auto rather than a high powered “hunting rifle” as so many news stories have described. Still no photos or physical description of the rifle, and you know if the shooter had been a Tea Party guy, they would have billboards of the weapon with the headline, ISN’T IT TIME WE GOT RID OF THESE ONCE AND FOR ALL, and every newscast would be describing it in breathtaking detail, including all the cosmetic details that make it so much more lethal — you know, like pistol grip, adjustable stock, bayonet lug, flash suppressor, etc.. Not to detract from the horrific nature of the shooting, but the media are trying so hard to conceal the fact that one of their own used a weapon that they detest, it’s actually kind of comical.

“……The gunman, James Hodgkinson, who was shot dead by law enforcement, is believed to have used an SKS 7.62-millimeter caliber rifle in the attack, a law enforcement source told CNN. Investigators also recovered a 9-millimeter handgun at the scene, but it is not known whether Hodgkinson fired it.
        ……
The SKS is a semiautomatic rifle developed by the Soviet Union in 1945, according to the National Rifle Association gun museum, which has one in its collection.
        ….

Further to the above comment. George Sorors needs to be investigated and if warranted should be charged and arrested for treason and sedition.

Thank you one and all for your answers to my questions. So don’t you think we as individuals should write to the President and point out his responsibilities and this includes upholding and defending the Constitution and that he is the commander and chief of the military including,we the people, as the rightful militia, and (THE SWAMP) could and should be legally drained of all the traitors of the Constitution. Just my take on it, and it may sound a bit too simple for you more learned ones, but has any thing else worked thus far? Some times I believe the answers are the most simple ones and I very well could be wrong. So then what? I don’t mean to sound pushy, but as fast as things are now coming down the pike seems like a reasonable solution really is in order or else……..

I agree. The Left, which includes the entire Democratic Party Leadership, Hollywood, and some of the Courts, have proven themselves to be TRAITORS to The Country and our Constitution. The President needs to act. He needs to do what his job calls for. That is the arrest and trial of these people who are trying to destroy our Nation. If need be, declare Martial Law and put Troops in the streets. I sincerely believe we have reached this point. The non-stop attack on the President by Democratic Senators and Representatives and all Leftists all over the Nation who have failed to accept the results of the Election has endangered our Republic like never before. This has got to stop.

      Benny,

Martial Law is unconstitutional. I agree there need to be some trials, but NOT martial law.
