Michael Savage predicted ‘violence’ by ‘marginals’ day before attack

(Includes video/audio of the attack in Alexandria, VA, on June 14.)

By Michael Savage – June 14, 207

‘We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war’

Less than 24 hours before a supporter of former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders fired at Republican members of Congress at a baseball practice, seriously injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise and four others before U.S. Capitol Police took down the assailant, talk-radio host and author Michael Savage warned of violence by “marginal” people who are set to explode and “kill somebody.”

Savage, the host of the nationally syndicated “The Savage Nation,” was commenting on recent developments that have escalated the anti-Trump “resistance,” such as comedian Kathy Griffin’s ISIS-style photo shoot of the decapitated likeness of Trump and the “Julius Caesar” play in Central Park featuring the assassination of a Trump-like figure.

“I don’t know how much more of this the country can take,” Savage said.

“We are at a boiling point. There’s going to be a civil war,” he told his listeners Tuesday.

The suspect in the shooting Wednesday, James T. Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois, campaigned for Sanders and belonged to a number of anti-Republican groups, including one called “Terminate the Republican Party.”

In comments prepared for his afternoon show Wednesday, Savage criticized President Trump’s reaction to the shooting, contending he lost an opportunity to “take control” of the narrative. And he pinned blame for the attack on Sanders, contending the Vermont senator “stoked hate against Republicans and the rich.”
The day before the attack, Savage told his listeners: “If they keep this up, I’m telling you there’s going to be an explosion in this country.”

He noted that nothing had been done to stop the Central Park play, “when it’s clearly illegal to assassinate a president, even in a mock way.”

“Do you understand that there are people out there who are marginal, who are going to go off like a rocket and kill somebody?” Savage asked.

“Do you understand what this left-wing is becoming in this country?”

Talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh also predicted on his show yesterday that “at some point,” the extreme Trump resisters “are gonna crack, and they’re not gonna just start cutting heads off of dolls, and they’re not gonna just start using fake knives to stab people at Central Park.”

Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., who was on the field practicing with his colleagues early Wednesday morning, commented that without the Capitol Police officers assigned to Scalise, “it would have been a massacre.”

At my age I really don’t want our country to devolve in armed conflict over political ideology, but it’s looking increasingly likely that they aren’t going to give us a choice (I know, ironic, isn’t it?) And all the while the globalist elites behind the scenes pulling the strings are delighted at the prospect of lowering the world’s population by a few billion. I doubt that any of the Leftist foot soldiers have the slightest clue just how much trouble they’re going to be in if they (to quote a former Marine friend) write a check that their canary ass can’t cash.

Anyone think just maybe Trump is in on this game?Seems to me he does just enough to keep us patriots in line but never a go for the throat action..,. We seem to still be on the losing side of things even with Republicrats running the whole show. Something to think about folks…

Now you’re thinking like me N.Y.O. It amazes me how many people refuse to believe that which is so evident. Sadly, most people simply cannot accept the fact that they have been fooled. AGAIN.
For what is so obviously a carefully planned agenda, continued seamlessly from one administration to the next, and the next, and the next, no matter which party is supposedly “in charge”, and covered in glaringly outright lies and propaganda. How can anyone dispute that both of the “Private Corporate Clubs”, known as POLITICAL PARTIES, are willing participants?
      It defies logic, IMHO.
“THEY” know precisely what we will tolerate, and continue to push right up to that “Line”, while covertly taking more and more of our liberties away, under the guise of SECURITY.
Security they sell, by way of constant propaganda, broadcast by the media 24/7/365, for a phoney “War ON TERROR”, that they created, and continually perpetuate.
How many people have you heard say; “Sure they are all crooks, but what can be done? They control everything.” Then go back to watching one team of millionaires, play another team of millionaires, in a stadium that was built with their tax dollars, yet they have to pay to enter, and don’t even get a share of the profits that “Their Investment” paid for. Again, it makes no sense to me. But it’s okay, because “The Donald” is gonna drain the swamp and get this country back on the right track. Just give him more time, and trust, and support. While he violates the constitution nearly every day. While he and his administration provide weapons to people who hate us.
For too long, the liberty minded revolutionary ideas, and the fortitude to stand up for our convictions, passed on to us from our founders, has been slowly and quiety, programmed out of a very large portion of our fellow citizens. They have been taught to love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude, rather than the animating contest for freedom. They seek only the council of the TV, and prefer to crouch down and lick the hand that feeds them, by way of their EBT cards.
So I say to them, in the same words Samuel Adams used when he said to those of this nature in his time; “May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”
I have to stop typing now, my blood pressure is getting too high.
I’ll say this one more time though; “Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss”.

For the Republic, if we can reclaim it,
      David

A popular sentiment in “Brandon Smith” circles NYO. Not suggesting that’s your church, but I read the tea leaves differently. The kind of seething Trump-hatred we are witnessing is diabolical. “In on the game” doesn’t walk away from TPP and the Paris Accord. IMHO

I agree. Saying that the new boss (Trump) is the same as the old boss (Obama) is laughable. Trump’s main thrust so far has been to UN-DO the damage that Obama heaped on us. It’s like saying black and white (no pun intended) are the same.

A sense of humor is a requisite element of survival, Chip. Our adversaries on the Left don’t have a sense of humor, which is one of the many reasons they’re losing.

I’ve been thinking about Savage’s use of the word “marginal” to describe people like James Hodgkinson. I know a lot of Leftwingers who I consider marginal in terms of overcoming confirmational bias and in their ability to analyze problems and formulate and solutions. In fact I’d have to say most Leftwingers fall into this category. Clearly Hodgkinson was not marginal in that regard. He spent a couple months scoping out the place where he intended to kill as many Republicans as possible. Had Congressman Scalise not been present there would have been no security detail, and there’s a good chance that the field would have been drenched with the blood of 30 Republican legislators.

I’d place Hodgkinson more in the sociopath category, although In a sense he had “marginal” mental stability, and maybe that’s what Savage meant. I hate to say it, but I suspect there are a lot more James Hodgkinsons out there just waiting for a trigger to set them off.
