Have you recieved any status? With all the shit occurring with the Obama administration I’m shocked that this organization “appears” to be dead in the water! Reach out to me at as I’m looking to build a Maryland organization of military members, veterans, law enforcement, etc that is strategic in it’s approach to change the course. Rob

Since I joined OK, I have been trying to find out what specific actions are being taken by the organization or any of its state chapters to save this country. Every day the leftists appear to gain ground whether it is suppression of free speech, continued wave of illegal immigrants, ignoring the constitution, or victimology and cities out of control under long time Democratic control, attacking the police, attacking people that work. Who can help me out?

      Just go here:
There are no requirements for being an Associate Member, other than your belief in the Oath the Military and others, like police and First Responders take, and your willingness to stand by the Constitution of the United States. We are delighted by your interest in joining.

I am a private citizen and resident of the State of Maryland, a Baltimore native and veteran of two branches (U.S. Army Honor Guard 95-97′ and U.S. Marine Corps 97-99′) of the military. Last year on May 15th I was the victim of police brutality, unlawful arrest and an illegal eviction at the hands of Baltimore county police officers who allowed (aided and abetted) a known criminal to break and enter my home. The police assaulted me and my wife, Tased me twice, attacked me with a K-9 and drug us from our home of two years all without a Warrant, Writ of possession or eviction paperwork. We have since returned home in April of this year and are now being targeted with the shut off of water services and the postal service refusing to deliver our mail. Our possessions were stolen and our home vandalized. We have contacted the U.S. Attorney General’s civil rights office and the Inspector General’s office and have received no solutions or remedies for the violations of our Constitutional rights. There is much more to our story that I will not write here. Needless to say, I am very interested in joining the MD Chapter of OK. I intend to call Mr. Zeitz in the morning to ask for the assistance of OK. Both my wife and I are veterans who believe in the oaths we took to defend the Constitution. I am very interested in joining and doing my part to defend the republic. Please have someone contact me asap as the SHAHTF for us.

I already posted this to another thread mostly. I am glad the above person has posted this because it regards a question I have . What if he was given a felony for standing up for his rights and in your article it says they can be kicked out of this organization . Any soldier can get a felony for disobeying an unlawful order by person of authority. In fact it doesn’t matter if its a soldier, even if citizen, you can be given a felony by opinion in a court of law if deemed by the jury. I just think times of slavery when people were even hung for small little things. How does the council know the difference with this organization? I am curious cuz I want to join and I am an Air Force veteran. I have friends in the army to that were chief master sergeants and they would have to tell their kernel sometimes when that was an unlawful order. Who was never convicted of anything but I try to follow his footsteps when holding the true law and the morals of a country. And you list examples of Nazi Germany Germany, if US was to do such a thing I think there be many felons in the country so would you support them or would you take them out of your organization cuz they have a felon. I guess my next question is in today’s society, if someone believes in God they can be considered mentally ill, an atheist doesn’t believe in a thing like that. When I believe most people do believe in God including me and have witnessed firsthand people being diagnosed with mental illnesses because an atheist think it’s craziness to believe in God . When in actuality Nazi Germany was a strong atheist, cult type belief that drove it to its insanity.

The system has been purposely been designed to pin felony charges on anyone for anything. Everyone commits at least 3 felonies everyday. Welcome to America…

because of the above comment by Daniel, is the reason I have decided to not pursue this organization. He is an Air Force Veteran but spells “”colonel” “kernel”, like popcorn. Uh yeah ok. Either stolen valor or 7 years old. Either way, not something I am interested in any more, plus it’s apparent that no one is answering these questions either. Lack of interest. Any Police Officer that joins is putting their career in jeopardy.

While I believe it can happen, there are always 3 sides to every story… the citizen, the police, and the truth.

I would hope that the Police version is also the truth, but it does happen.

I’m a police officer and recently joined the Oath Keepers. However, following that, I began seeing articles comparing the Oath Keepers to Sovereign Citizens and other right-wing extremist groups. Even supports Oath Keepers, and that website infuriates me. I am not sure I can support anything that cop haters support. I also read the 10 orders and realized that 1) I detain and arrest people and 2) I seize property and tow vehicles (as well as conduct searches of people and property), so I have already violated a few of them just in the act of doing my job. I believe in the 2nd Amendment, as well, but there are folks who I believe should NOT own firearms, just because they can… I don’t believe the mentally ill or criminals should ever own firearms. Other than that, I swore an oath,

Please shed some light on this. Is the Oath Keepers a “militia” group, extremist group, etc etc?

Several local LEO organizations have been invited to the Oath Keepers summit being held this weekend in Gilbert WV. I don’t know why a cop hating organization would back OK, but if they do, they must misunderstand the OK organization and miss understand that plenty of active LEOs belong to the OK organization.

My family fully supports law enforcement and I just provided a two year membership to my father as a gift. He is pro military and pro law enforcement. My husband is retired military and pro law enforcement and he is going to join OK.
We all know there are bad apples in every agency and business and we know it is our duty to call out corruption where we find it. I also know that I tend to believe the servicemen’s or LEO’s story first, wait for the facts to come out. So, I do have a pro LE bias.
To your point of you having already broken the OK oaths – the oaths speak of warrantless search and seizers and arrests that would currently be considered unlawful (thus the arrest would not stand up) – I doubt that you any of the arrests, searches or seizers you have made are warrantless or unlawful, thus I don’t believe you have broken the oaths put forth by the organization.
My apologies that I have droned on and I certainly do not speak for the OK association as a whole, but I wanted to give a voice as someone who’s Father and Husband have/will shortly join.

If you took an Oath to the Constitution as part of becoming a Corrections Officer, then, yes, you can be a full member. If you didn’t, you can still be an Associate Member.

We talked months ago about regular meetings. I think that OK should take a more active role in the effort to save this country. I think OK could counter many of the destructive riots by extremists determined to resist desperately needed changes in our government including the proliferation of unconstitutional executive orders that will rob us of our freedoms.

Thank you for taking action to uphold the constitution. I hope to see more citizens waking up to the reality of the police state and joining your ranks. I am interested in knowing your position on two issues:
    1) LGBT rights – I am a gay male, but I am not for gay marriage. If they say marriage is between a man and a woman- fine. They can have it. Each person should do what they wish to do, but I am not an active proponent. Just wanted to know if your organization is gay-friendly.
    2) 9/11 truth movement. I know you defended Alex Jones, one of the movement’s most prominent proponents. Is there a leaning in your group for the truth?
Thank you for what you do.

I think suspension is way too harsh for a simple agency policy violation. I have see USMC hats and stickers on display in police vehicles in Marlyand and all these are also policy violations, but no one is SUSPENDED! As a former police officer I agree that these items should NOT be placed in or on police vehicles but suspension? Just another case of overreasction.

From the lack of response and the fact that the Maryland chair person’s phone number is no longer his phone number it sounds like someone needs to step up in Maryland… that someone might just be me… we need a voice we need leadership and we need to be coordinated just like the enemy is…
