Maduro’s Arrogance Enabled by Venezuelan Citizen Disarmament Edicts

Is it any wonder Maduro’s country is in the toilet — and out of toilet paper? (Nicolás Maduro/Facebook)

“Venezuela’s opposition called on Monday for a national strike against President Nicolás Maduro in an escalation of protests after a massive symbolic referendum at the weekend,” Reuters reported Monday. “After months of demonstrations that have led to nearly 100 deaths, the Democratic Unity coalition said it brought 7.6 million people out on Sunday for an unofficial vote intended to de-legitimize a leader they call a dictator.”

When thugs get power they all seem to dress the part. (Nicolás Maduro/Twitter)

True to form, Maduro’s arrogant response showed him acting the part.

“Though polls show the opposition has majority support and his foes repeatedly call for a free and fair election as their top demand, Maduro insists they are U.S. pawns intent on sabotaging the economy and bringing him down through violence,” Reuters explained. “[He] dismissed Sunday’s event as an internal exercise by the opposition with no bearing on his government.”

Blaming opponents for self-created problems is standard operating practice for national socialists everywhere. Look at how the manufactured outrage in this country is all about supposed Russian hacking of Hillary Clinton’s emails, rather than the criminal activity she engaged in and then destroyed evidence of.

The inevitable cycle (Orwell & Goode)

So when his communist policies bring about the predictable shortages (he once dispatched troops to seize a toilet paper factory!), he points the finger at “hoarding of essential commodities” by the private sector. Government thieves accusing rightful property owners of greed is another bit of “progressive” SOP.

And to back that up, Venezuela employs enough of what our gun-grabbers call “common sense gun safety laws” to make Michael Bloomberg’s shark eyes roll back to show their whites. And as is always the case, it’s not that they’re “anti-gun.” They like guns just fine as long as they’re the “only ones” controlling them:

“Socialist Venezuelan Leader Steps Up Arming of Supporters After Outlawing, Confiscating Civilian Guns Maduro plans to arm 400,000 supporters amid protests and unrest”

¿Armas para que? Fidel Castro knew quite well. (Photo from GUNS Magazine, March 1959 issue)

As much as leftists here disparage the concept of militias as being extremist haters, that’s only when they espouse Constitutional principles.

There’s hope that some Venezuelans know the score, unlike the useful idiot majority that gave a monster like Maduro, and Hugo Chavez before him, an effective monopoly of violence. Per Gun Policy.org, there are anywhere between an estimated 1,100,000 and 2,700,000 “illicit” guns in Venezuela (what Michael Bloomberg calls “illegal guns” and we ought to start referring to as “undocumented,” just to throw their subversive crap back in their faces). That means there could be anywhere between four to 10 guns per 100 people that the “government” has been unable to seize.

It’s probably unrealistic to expect that a nation so deep in the hole will experience a sudden surge of freedom, and with hundreds of thousands of supporters  bearing arms (assuming that figure wasn’t a lie to make the force appear more formidable than it is), it appears that when someone finally does smoke a Maduro,  fierce internal conflict will be the result.

Hopefully what we won’t see, because of those “illicit guns,” is genocide directed against the minority that believes in the freedom of individuals to pursue their own lives, liberty and happiness. Or, an influx of displaced and Marxist “refugees” into this country…

What the collectivists have done to Venezuela they hope to do to this country and to the world. Based on the success they’ve enjoyed everywhere else, it would appear the United States, with its Constitution, is humanity’s last best hope. No wonder those who believe that are treated with such derision, scorn and hate by those whose agenda is to control.

This is the stuff the Left and the Globalists have been trying to do in the U.S.A. They don’t like the U.S. Constitution because they find it too restricting and it prevents their illegal plans from taking effect. I thank God for His mercies He has bestowed upon us. See Psalm 2.

Undocumented guns. Great use of the terms for all those that the police state has not been able to yet disenfranchise.
When are the Several States going to reconstitute militias to counter the encroachments of the general government into every aspect of life?
How much time is left us to regain liberties lost to the central rulers in the name of security?
Life, liberty property: the three corners upon which our founders relied. We can do no less.

Maduro may have a point re outside influences. That is part of the fall-out of U.S./CIA’s long history of meddling in other countries, including Central/South American countries.
With so much deception, it may take years to find out the truth of what’s really going on in any country.

Sure, as I understand it, the CIA PAST history might still be a whipping boy for Maduro but if not for the CIA I’d bet my last dollar he would blame someone else. Like their opposition forces perhaps? Isn’t that what our communists-in-training do here? When the economy finally collapses they will blame Trump or whomever but never themselves, of course. That’s SOP.

Most of us are probably horrified at what is going on in places like Venezuela, and yet I know well-heeled Americans (liberals, of course) who were on some of the first planeloads of Americans to Cuba; they couldn’t wait to drop a bunch of money in communist Cuba as soon as Obama dropped the sanctions against his communist buddies there.

If President Trump would keep his promise to “lock her up”, our fed government would stop wast
ing all our tax money on the “Russia conspiracy”. The libtards know that as long as they keep that up, the government won’t zero in on all the criminal activities of that hag and her pervert husband. Start prosecuting billary and the Russian thing will disappear.
