Hello Ed. My name is Aaron, I have been researching a lot online and I have come across some disturbing info about FEMA, and frankly I’m scared to death about all of this. I am trying to find a Wichita chapter of the old minute men. From what I have learned so far your it. I just want to know that I’m not the only one how is freaked out about all of this. I have tried to tell my friends about some of the stuff I have found witch is all on youtube by the way. And they just say stuff about all the other theories. So I know I cant count on them to take any kind of action when the time comes. I just need some guidance on what I should be doing as an American. Thank you.

      Hello Arron,

Yes these times can be scary, and as you said a lot of people do not want to see what is going on in this great nation of ours. As far as your question on what you can or should be doing as an American, is support what is right and spread the word of what is going on, you can always contact me threw email at the above address.

Ed is absolutely right. All of us have to be activists and help spread the word on this regardless of how the media has trained people to react. I’ll add that in these times it is important to stay down to earth, stick to the people, and stick to common sense. Jefferson once said we must hang together or we will certainly hang separately. I’m not seeing my earlier reply. Not sure if it’s sending. But, I’m extremely familiar with the Kansas City Chapter from the 60s. I’ve been to their meeting place. And still have access to most of the literature. Including supporting documents.

Hi, I’m in Leavenworth, wondering where support would be for this area. At first, the base would seem a natural resource, but at the same time I could see it being an easy target.

I also live in Leavenworth. In a situation, access to the Fort would be denied. I am now 70 and disabled, but I know how to can food and cook creatively with little to use. I can teach others. I am also a minister and willing to pray for any needing it.

We need to get organized in Kansas. We need to train together. We need to form CPTs.

In order to get started, I am going to host a meeting in Topeka. If I cannot find enough people to attend my meeting in Topeka, I will attend any in the KC area. I will also help get one organized in KC if that is what is needed.

So, if you want to help get organized,

    1. Go to the Kansas forum, look for my meeting notice, or
    2. Email me at topkshg@gmail.com.

I hope one of you in KC KS can find a place for a meeting. I will help you put an agenda together but not living there, I can’t find a place. Check your local churches, voluntary fire departments, restaurants with meeting rooms, etc. Don’t set a date yet, just find a place.

The most important thing at this point is to just get a meeting behind us so interested Oath Keepers can meet one another. After that we can form teams for training.

    Hello Ed,

I am a new member. I live in southwest Kansas and was just reaching out to see if there were any other members in my area. I would really like to get together with members that are close to explore the possibility of putting together a CPT out in the middle of nowhere. Feels awfully lonely out here and with the direction our country seems to be heading…I’d sure hate to be out here without a team. In the mean time I will be spreading the word and doing my best to find like minded individuals to help support the Oath Keepers.

I am a 67 year old woman who sees this country, which I love, being torn apart and it makes me sick. I don’t have the strength of the fighting men and women out there who are standing firm in the face of the evil trying to force us to kneel down and be grateful they haven’t killed us (yet)! What can I do to help this cause as I am tired of watching from the sidelines. I live in Wichita, KS. Please do not tell me I am not needed as I hear that everyday from my kids, I am learning how to shoot and that is a huge step for someone who has been anti-gun all of my life. I have nothing to lose now so tell me how I can be helpful. Laugh and shake your heads if you wish but I personally will not go down without a fight even knowing the odds are stacked against me. I wish to stand not lay down.

Yvonne: Will not be able to make it to Little Rock. Was hoping something could be organized in Wichita area. Talking with some folks of same mind, presently, though not necessarily Oath Keepers. Are you located in Kansas? Maybe we can email. I do not do Facebook and do not choose to involve with Facebook. Therefore, I miss a lot of info. Am very concerned about threats to any American, Lavoy the poster being. After having done all to stand, stand ye, therefore…All we can do is stand, fear be damned!

Hi there, my name is Cris. I was just reading the comments on oathkeepers website, and I just wanted to tell you that I’m pretty sure that none here would think you are useless. I happy you took a step that ultimately less to a wonderful feeling of self reliance and being able to defend yourself in case of a bad scenario. It’s wonderfully empowering, isn’t it, to be free and have liberty.

To be honest, as far as usefulness goes, the ability to fight on the front lines is only one place to be useful. The real strength of this organization is the people who strengthen their communities around them. Learn to grow a garden, or, if you already know about that teach it to someone else. Yeah what you know to everyone who will learn, and learn from anyone who is willing to teach.

Any step you can take to become more self reliant, and teaching others to do so as well, is a step towards strengthening this country. Talk about things with your neighbors like the constitution and your rights. Talk to them about gardening, canning, fixing things, sewing, healthcare, natural remedies and cures, find out what your neighbors know, and learn from them as well as teaching them whatever you know. Read everything you can get your hands on about real world subjects. Build a local supply chain and learn how to survive without the national supply chain like Kroger and dillons. I’m not saying don’t use them, just saying learn how to do without them so if you have too, you can, and share your knowledge with everyone around you.

These are the things that ultimately will be the most useful skills anyone will ever have, and the beauty of it is that anyone can do it. If you’d like to talk, my address is metal_man_1979@yahoo.com

      Good luck and God bless.

    TOPEKA MEETING:
There was a meeting planned for Saturday, 13 Aug 2016 in Topeka. 15 people rsvp’d…4 showed up. What happened? One high-speed, low-drag troop drove from as far away as Hutch. Mr. Clark Sann organized and facilitated the event. Given the amount of energy and effort Clark put into coordinating the get-together, it was very disheartening (at least for me) to see the no to low turnout. The importance of proceeding is paramount, as I believe the time we have to plan and prepare is quickly coming to a close, so we are going to try again. Is there anyone within traveling distance of Topeka who would commit to attending a meeting? And by “commit” – I mean SHOW UP, on time, serious about making this happen. Please, reply on this forum, or contact Clark or me, and we will arrange a time and place to meet…the sooner the better! Thank you, and have a good evening.

Sabre again. I’ve gone through here and read three pages of people talking about acting, but very, if any, action taking place.

I joined a car group with small number of like minded people. within 2 years we were on the brink of becoming biggest midwestern autocross and drifting group. talks of merger with other groups, we had sponsers and even had talks to send some of our guys to a professional level.

    Point is, we were kids.

We may talk big game and have our hearts on the right place, but it’s means nothing if we are unorganized. I’m not sure how, but we need to create regular meetings, once a month to start. as time continues, more will come, and more oppertunies will present themeselves.

So here is me attempting to build a foundation. On saturday, may 13th. Day before mothers day
