Ernie, I understand your frustration. However, please realize that local Oath Keepers Chapters are started, organized, and run by volunteers. The State Points of Contact are volunteers and some of us have more than one state. We can only do our best to keep up.

Unless we have people step up locally, there will be voids to fill, and those voids can only be filled by local Oath Keepers. I’m going to include links to a part of the website that will give you info on who we are. If you have any questions, please contact me on the national forum, in the thread you started, or by private message.

Again, I understand. I’ve been a member since 2009 and I didn’t have a local chapter until I moved to Idaho in 2014. I’m still here because I believe in the Oath Keepers mission.

I finally made contact with an ESTABLISHED CPT. It took throwing a fit (like a 3yr old, kicking and screaming) to get it done. It was worth it.

Anyone in the Jacksonville area feel free to contact me if you are interested. I now know who to contact to “gitter done”.

I am an Army Vet of 10 years originally from Texas, served in Infantry and Armored Cav. I am currently a team leader in KY and as sad as it is to leave a team that took me 4 years to build, my wife wants to be near our daughters and Grandchildren who all moved to Florida.
I wish I could narrow our planned location down, but until we find the perfect house / location, we will be landing either in the Ocala area or Brevard County (Mims / Titusville), I would prefer this secluded neighborhood in MIms with 5 acre plots and a heavy security gate to get into it. ANYWAY, hopefully I’ll have the location secured within the month and move completed by end of October.
I am the KY state Subject matter expert on Comms (General Ham) I’m no expert (because there is always someone who knows more) but I’m the most experienced and have passed on what I know to all teams, my team leads the state on licensed Hams, HF gear etc… I took a team of 7 and pushed them until they went from no knowledge to where we have 2 extras 4 generals and 1 tech, we have 5 HF rigs (i own two of those, one mobile the other in a self sufficient go box) and everybody, even those no licensed have 2M/70cm programmed radios.
Please, I would like to communicate with both areas until I know where I am going to land because its better to know everyone and join one, then it is to move knowing nobody.
I am also going to be looking for a new “Guru” as I am training with another team in Filipino / Indonesian martial arts and want to keep doing so (if anybody has info on such). I also train with yet another team on Squad CQC tactics and want to keep doing that at well. If whomever replies wishes to vet me, you can Contact Jeff Johnson KY state leader and he (as well as any other Team leader in the state of KY) will vouch for me. You can also contact Rocky in Fl of OK National Ham.
I do not wish to move into a no mans land, knowing nobody and having a team of 1 again, especially this close to what very well could be crunch time.
If there are no teams in these areas then please, even though I am not there yet get me in touch with the men / women in these areas and I will start a team just like I had to do in KY because my philosophy is Lead me, Follow me, or get the hell out of my way.
I look forward to hearing from someone.

Expect a FL member call within the next two weeks as well, so members can be better connected and plugged in. Thanks for being willing to help in FL. Stewart Rhodes

Mark – I am a 2016 newbie member of OK – former Army Ordnance. Relative to your post I think I can help, at least with preliminaries. I’ll put a bit extra here for others whose interests are similar to yours.

I’ve been a Central Florida resident for almost sixty years – Orange, Osceola and Brevard counties. As for politics, Orange and Osceola have become very “blue,” while Brevard remains very “red.” In high school I lived in Orange County, later in Osceola and currently reside in Brevard.

If you are an avid hunter, especially for white-tail, Ocala is a good choice. The Ocala forest offers good hunting, a chance to buy private acreage, and easy transit via I-75 to hunting in Georgia. Avoid the Villages at all cost (though they reportedly vote conservative), because it is a traffic and access nightmare. Ocala itself probably offers good medical care, but you will be competing with a gazillion old farts at whatever point you want to nail down geriatric support.

As for Brevard, it is in my opinion a very friendly Oath Keepers county. Our Sheriff, Wayne Ivey, is super-pro-2A and very well-liked. As for Mims, that depends on your off-grid desires – it is a tad bit out of the way, great for agriculture and privacy, but not much else. Titusville’s only hope is an increase in rocket launches out of Canaveral, IMO. On the south side of Titusville is an outstanding indoor range at the National Police Hall of Fame and I shoot there most often. Otherwise, quality of life is so-so, but probably pretty inexpensive. I have decent knowledge of ranges and gunshops in this area.

If you (or others)want more detail, e-mail me at srfzp-deplorable@yahoo.com – it is a disposable address that I plan to delete in early December, 2016. I go by “Chip” or “Grits.”

      Regards.

Are you a Patriot and interested in finding out about Oathkeepers and specifically, the Tampa, Florida Oathkeepers chapter? Are you interested in protecting your family and community? Do you have skills in EMS, Communications, Engineering, Security/Tactics, or Preparedness that you would share with fellow Oathkeepers? Have you taken an oath to protect and defend the United States against all enemies both foreign and domestic? Do you know that the Oath you took has no expiration date?

As part of our effort to rebuild membership in our Tampa, Florida Chapter, I am coordinating contacts with like-minded people and establishing a line of contact from the organization.

I am a former USAF Vietnam combat veteran and former Law Enforcement Officer. I am located in the Brandon, FL area and will be coordinating membership, communications, training and meetings for the Tampa Chapter of Oathkeepers.

I would recommend downloading an app called Meetup. We will be using that and e-mails to notify interested folks of upcoming meetings and events. https://www.meetup.com/Oath-Keepers-of-Tampa-Bay-Florida/ I would also direct you to Oathkeepers website at http://www.Oathkeepers.org for more information on our organization, programs and membership.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

U.S. Army vet (Military Police Dog Handler in the early to mid 60’s – time of service, not age) in Spring Hill, Florida .

Some time ago my wife and I put in an application to be poll watchers – never heard a word from anyone!

Voter fraud and Voter ID has been a concern of ours for the past several voting cycles. Voter ID will, for the most part, continue to be an issue to be handled legislatively; however, voter fraud is something that can be somewhat impacted by concerned citizens, trained in what to look for.

Saw the recent Call-to-Action video by Stewart Rhodes, et al., and was wondering if you-all have any use for a concerned, sharp-eyed 70-yr old couple (who would blend in perfectly in this area) as eyes and ears for the effort you folks will be spearheading as this election proceeds.

We have no particular expertise in investigative techniques; but, with guidance from those who do, we’re willing to provide whatever support we might be able to. Being retired, our time is pretty flexible.

I can be reached at e-mail entered below

I want to learn more about how people are getting involved on Nov. 8th. Any chance you can send me an email at miki@thislife.org even if it’s just to talk on background?

I had two get right back to me within moments of receiving my contact info. It’s a great honor to be a part of Oath Keepers in general but especially with the guys in North Florida and Tallahassee.
