Draining The Swamp – Part XX – An Explosion Of Allegations

Over the past week there has been a veritable explosion of allegations of sexual misconduct by men in the News Media, Congress, and new allegations against Bill Clinton.

Charlie Rose, of PBS, has been accused by eight women of nudity, “groping” and lewd phone calls. See here, and here.

Bill Clinton has been accused by four MORE women of sexual assault.

Hannity.com reports:

The New York Times announced on Monday that it’s suspending its well-known White House correspondent Glenn Thrush after multiple women came forward with allegations of sexual misbehavior; saying he will be removed from his post pending a full investigation.

From InfoWars.com:

Newly surfaced pics show Al Franken grabbing Arianna Huffington’s breasts and butt.

Buzzfeed reports:

Michigan Rep. John Conyers, a Democrat and the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives, settled a wrongful dismissal complaint in 2015 with a former employee who alleged she was fired because she would not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.”

Documents from the complaint obtained by BuzzFeed News include four signed affidavits, three of which are notarized, from former staff members who allege that Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee, repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sexual favors, contacting and transporting other women with whom they believed Conyers was having affairs, caressing their hands sexually, and rubbing their legs and backs in public. Four people involved with the case verified the documents are authentic.

There have been other accusations made against less notable people, which points to the floodgates opening as the Swamp Creatures are being exposed by women, (and men), who have finally spoken up, having been afraid to do so previously. It also points to one simple fact: Power Corrupts. Most, if not all, of the accused hold some sort of power over those they abused. They abused that power. Someone being lower than you in the pecking order doesn’t mean they should be targets. A position of trust is meant for those who can be trusted.

I have an idea. Why don’t we treat others with simple respect? I know, it’s a lot to ask, but really, shouldn’t this be the norm? What ever happened to the Golden Rule? Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That seems like a damn good way to live.

Respect. It is one word that can change the world. You don’t have to love your neighbor to give them the respect they deserve, and you might just find you like them, but first you need to give them respect.

R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Seven letters that combined give us a means, a way, of getting along.

What is appalling is that this has happened ‘in the halls of ‘Justice’. What is even more disheartening is that these vermin have basically been found guilty without having Judicial Procedure, but then Judicial Procedure, in itself, is also corrupt. This is a start, I hope that quelching this corruption will not stop there, and a thorough cleansing of Governmental, and Judicial corruption continues!

Respect is something that is sorely lacking. What folks need to understand is that “RESPECT” is NOT something that can be demanded, it MUST be earned, no matter what one’s station in life, or position in the “pecking order”. Also, one cannot expect others to respect, if they themselves lack “self-respect”. One of the best ways of being treated respectfully by others is to dress, talk and act decently, whether in the work place, school, or in any public gatherings. If you dress, talk and/or act like a low-life or slut, that is how you will be treated.

That remark is so telling. You see, God loves even the “low-lifes” And you are claiming that if a person does not act or dress with “self respect” they deserve to be molested. NOT never. Not by a godly person.

      Charles,

There are many levels of respect. You may not highly respect a person, but if you respect yourself, you will give the simple respect due everyone.

You want “judicial procedure”??? . These are the very ones who are responsible for “judicial procedure”. And every one of them EXCEPT Judge Moore have admitted they were guilty under the pressure of so MANY accusations.
But then, there will be NO charges file. And you know that.
