Cook County Commissioner Calls for UN Troops to Stop Chicago Violence

Nothing some UN troops and another gas tax can’t handle. Right? (Richard Boykin/Facebook)

“Cook Commissioner Richard Boykin … flew to New York on Thursday to discuss what he described as a ‘quiet genocide’ in Chicago’s black community with the U.N.’s assistant secretary-general for peacebuilding support, Oscar Fernandez-Taranco,” The Chicago Tribune reports.

His bright idea?

Foreign UN blue helmets patrolling American streets.

“The United Nations has a track record of protecting minority populations,” Boykin claimed. “There was tribal warfare between the Tutsis and the Hutus in Africa, and they deployed peacekeeping troops there to help save those populations and reduce the bloodshed. We have to do something — black people in Chicago make up 30 percent of the population but 80 percent of those who are killed by gun violence.”

That’s an interesting admission. It proves to any but the willingly blind that the problem with violence is not the guns. But that doesn’t stop Boykin from proposing this latest in a litany of loopy non-solutions. His brainstorm to address the same issue last year was a 4-cents-a-gallon gas tax.

Does this on U.S. soil suggest “peaceful resolution” to you?

And point of order, since Boykin’s the one who brought up UN intervention in the Hutu-Tutsi genocide:

“The United Nations Assistance Mission for Rwanda (UNAMIR) … is thus regarded as a major failure.”

The region is still a corrupt and brutal hellhole, where officials “manipulate” (lie about) the extreme poverty statistics and the military engages in “unlawful detention” and “widespread and systematic torture.”

And naturally, putting it mildly, “The regulation of guns in Rwanda is categorised as restrictive.”

That “progressive” policies promulgated by Boykin and the Chicago political establishment are “fundamentally transforming” more and more of America into a Third World “global norm” is self-evident. The further this country deviates from founding intent, the more tyranny — and the misery it brings — will take over.

The destruction will grow and spread as long as powers are usurped and freedoms are infringed. As will the widespread violence, as long as that which is “necessary to the security of a free State” is deliberately ignored and suppressed instead of promoted, trained and supplied.

As long as the Boykins of the world have their places at the trough secured and can take expenses-paid junkets where they’re treated like important players, where’s the incentive to change?

There’s NO provision in the constitution for a “peace keeping” military force in US soil, specially foreign. Article II says what to do, not the UN. ANY deployment of UN forces on US soil, regardless who thought it was a good idea, would in fact be an invasion.

Inviting a foreign military force on American soil is, according to our Constitution, an act of treason.

Marlene….it is indeed an act of treason and that is exactly why Obama and Loretta Lynch should be placed on trial for treason when they brought in and introduced the SCN (Strong Cities Network) to 7 cities to begin with in 2015. There are obviously more now. These “Blue Helmets” are not Americans and were to be coordinating, educating and assisting local police forces with policing issues. This placed UN boots on American soil which was an act of treason. For the Senate and House to have allowed this to happen is beyond any possible explanation other than that they are all Globalists and agreed with it. I also believe that Obama had visions that by infiltrating local police agency’s he would establish a foothold with his visioned One World Police Force to combat the patriotic veterans and Constitutional American citizens whom he considered to be domestic terrorists. Jade Helm 15 was also connected to this internal control plan. Do your research and you will find that UN personnel were placed in the following cities in October 2015. Birmingham, AL., Ft. Worth, TX., Gary, IN., Minneapolis, MN., Pittsburg, PA., Stockton, CA. Make no mistake, our country, and citizens are in the UN Communist Globalist crosshairs and will remain there. To say that we must be more vigilant is an understatement. They are circling the wagons as we speak…..P.S. Boykin is just another Globalist punk supported by George Soros and the Obama Shadow Government organization (OFA).

Blue helmet UN troops would be a foreign invader and I would be with other Americans to put a U.S. 30cal round through it. We already have too many foreign invaders here. (Illegal immigrants)

The fact that any American would even suggest the idea of using UN forces shows them to be communist the the dumbest MF on the face of the planet! A life prison term is too good for this idiot.

I believe you are correct and seeing that this would be an INVASION, of foreign forces on OUR soil, “WE THE PEOPLE” have every right in the world to “take out” the invading force, one way or another. OR as they say, “blue helmets make excellent targets”

Such an intervention within the internal affairs of the United States of America or even a county of one of the States is an act of war. The very initiation of petitioning for such intervention by an elected official of this particular county is an act of Treason as it facilitates the foreign entity in waging war upon the people of the United States of America in particular citizens of Cook County in the State of Illinois. The local Oath Keepers and any allies should stand up and let it be known that this man’s actions will not be tolerated. Commissioner Richard Boykin has proven he is not loyal to this Republic or to the Sovereign State of Illinois.

The FBI should be all over this. he just committed an act of treason. This is one of the FBI’s main functions. Where is the outrage? This is the first I’ve heard of this.

Clearly “Unconstitutional.” In fact, I can think of at three places in the Constitution that addresses this. Cal will probably expand upon this later. He does a great job at it, so I defer, but you know what’s also Constitutional? “The Right to Keep and Bear Arms.” It may get ugly in the near term, but it would level off in the long run….if the good folk of Chicago armed themselves as well.

Like said above, nothing constitutional about this. What’s funny, is those piece keeper don’t stand a chance in hell of surviving the gangland streets of Chicago. They are not familiar with the territory, the language, variety of cultures or any other aspect of America. Easy target wearing their cute blue hats. I give them one weekend.

The point you bring up about the UN failure in Rwanda needs a bit of clarification.
Didn’t the UN troops go in and disarm Hutus’, and thereby cause the death extermination of some 400,000 of them?
I can’t remember which way it went, but I do know that the UN mission did cause far more death than had they been left alone. Perhaps that’s the idea.

The machete was the main instrument of death for the Tutsies who lost close to a million people…all while the blue helmets did NOTHING.

Just about the time we think we have heard it all …then this? If ANY military roams the streets it will be OUR military that does it, not the inept U.N. We have our own law enforcement thank you very much. You can’t fix stupid, and this proves they walk amongst us. However, they DID have the blue helmets in Galveston between Galveston and Houston after one hurricane and the theme of the day was “Papers please”…or you did NOT get into Galveston. Just the suggestion of UN military roaming our streets scares me to death!!!

If he can’t solve the problem locally, he can always accept Trumps offer to step in… LOL!
Boykin is clearly an enemy of our society, and is demonstrating a very dangerous mindset that poses a serious threat to our national security.
I hope he is summarily shut down, for his own well being as well as the City’s.
As far as the unarmy goes, many here have already said there is no constitution provision for their existence in the United States, and last I checked, we are still operating under the rule of law.

Just what we need, another gang of criminals operating in the City(?) of Chicago as if the politicians aren’t enough.
Th UN is anti-American and would do absolutely nothing to help the situation in any Democrat-ruled city in the US and would most likely make the situation worse, never mind that those pretty blue helmets would make great targets.

The ignorance (or corruption) is unmeasurable. Look at “The Miracle of Hong Kong”, that is where the answer to all our problems is to be found. We are controlled ECONOMICALLY not politically !!! When people get it through their thick skulls that politicians do nothing but harm we might make some progress. Study the fundamental economic principles of Capitalism so you can teach others.

I seriously doubt if there are any Patriots left in “crook county” to take a stand against the powers that be. Since all orders come from cc’s HQ, chicago city hall, on down to the “bought and paid for” officials, who then pass it down to the people (who are in the same category aforementioned) to execute. I’ve always thought if there were to be any giant “red flag” event that would encompass the entire Nation, it would start there. I could write a book, tell a million stories, about the corruption that took place during my few years of “employment”.
This guy making a statement like that, had to come from above, so beware, There is something in the breeze to follow. I can just imagine. Great article Mr. Codrea!

P.S. If, by chance, an Honorable person who lives and works there, GOD BLESS YOU.

Let’s not be too quick to dismiss Boykin’s idea. Chicago is a failed city within a corrupt county in a failed, bankrupt state where it’s nearly impossible for a, citizen to carry a gun lawfully. I can’t feel too sorry for the voters who mostly did it to themselves. “The region is still a corrupt and brutal hellhole …” Oh wait, he’s not referring to Chicago but should be. As for the 80% of black murders being by gun, yeah, that’s tribal warfare & largely a self-resolving problem. The head-shaker is the suggestion that the UN “peacekeepers” wouldn’t rape, rob, & kill as they did in Africa. I’d not want the UN in any other part of the U.S., but maybe the Israeli mayor should bring them in to Chicago. I’d like to see how that works out.

Cook County Commissioner Boykin must have skipped school. Nothing else can explain his idiocy of asking for Blue-Helmeted UN troops patrolling the streets of Chicago. If Chicago really wants to rid the city of daily violence, then they must rid that city of Demoncrat rule. Chicago politicians are competing with the political slime in Washington DC as to who will destroy a population first. Keeping crime up is the No. 1 policy of these Saul Alinsky Communist radicals who have no intention of reducing crime and having their reason to exist brought to an end.
